Position Summary

The GIS Coordinator turns parcel and corridor data into clear maps and spatial analysis that guide acquisition and field work. This role maintains project geodatabases and supports agents, surveyors, and managers with accurate spatial information.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain project geodatabases for parcels, corridors, and acquisition status.
• Produce maps, exhibits, and parcel atlases for field teams and client deliverables.
• Integrate survey, title, and acquisition data into GIS layers.
• Update parcel status and ownership information as acquisitions progress.
• Support FAA Part 107 drone corridor data processing and mapping.
• Run spatial analysis to identify encroachments, conflicts, and corridor constraints.
• Deliver data exports and reports in client-required formats.
• Uphold data accuracy, metadata, and quality standards across projects.

Required Qualifications

• Two or more years of GIS experience, preferably in land, utility, or infrastructure work.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, or QGIS.
• Ability to interpret legal descriptions, survey data, and parcel records.
• Strong cartographic and data management skill.
• Clear communication with field and project teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting ROW or corridor acquisition projects.
• Familiarity with drone or aerial imagery workflows.
• Skill with Python or ModelBuilder for GIS automation.
• Bilingual ability is a plus.

Work Environment

Primarily office, hybrid, or remote work focused on geospatial systems. Occasional field coordination may apply.
